I think I have wasted my money on this book. Author seems more focused on self promotion than anything else. Personal anecdotes of little value. Completely irrelevant photos of the author and her family. Also a lot of padding, eg yoga exercises. I am almost 80 years old and don't think I need pages explaining, with diagrams, how to pass a stool! (sorry for the euphemism)Recipes often contain items not easily found in supermarkets. I suggest you go to MIchael Mosley's book on the same subject. More substantial content and better recipes.
i just read through some bad reviews on here, and i'm shocked really i'm sure they're just miserable old bags that are jealous of how amazing Megan is!! I found this book via the kindle store after wanting to educate myself in gut health. i downloaded a few samples of books but this is one the one i liked the most. I then found Megan on instagram, i asked her a couple of questioned re food and she even responded to me (some times these people think they're too good to respond, but Megan did) I have only made little changes to my diet but its made SUCH A DIFFERENCE!!!! i think this book is amazing, its informative, and has some amazing recipes. thanks Megan!
