I love this book because of the way the author uses anecdotes to illustrate his point. This makes it easy for beginners to grasp the importance and real life use cases of a concept. The second reason I love this book is that it draws on real life experiences instead of theoretical, academic jargon. After reading this book, I honestly feel much better about negotiating that happens every day in my--and everyone else's--life. The third and final reason I love this book is that it challenges my beliefs about what negotiation is and how it works, urging me to dig deeper into some concepts like empathy. As a blind person, this book has shown me the power of words. While not as powerful as body language, the words people speak can be invaluable if you listen closely.
