The plot does get fun. Robert finds himself waltzed at a ball, kissed by a duke, in trouble with his father the king, kidnapped by werewolfs to become the bride of the wolf king. Robert finds himself swept away by being a teenage girl with hormones and boy craze. His daughter Kate is in his head guiding him by reading the book as they go along. They have fabulous fantasy adventures one after the other, while Robert tries to get home. Along the way, he and his daughter reach a new understanding of each other.
The adventures that occur are trite and overused, standard fairy-tale fare, but written tongue-in-cheek and put together in a way that is wholly original and unique. However there is a surprise ending which is a bit jolting. It is an entertaining book. I give it overall four stars.
This is not pornography, it is a fascinating journey for a middle aged man through the life of a teenage girl.
I might have actually given it five stars but for three things. The first is the previously mentioned ending. Better had it ended before the "One Month Later" part. The second is the formatting. Paragraphs seem indented by varying amounts, making it difficult to read in parts. Lastly, a good proofreading might help. A thrill would run through one's body, not threw it, and said body would be toned, not tone. There were also a few places where a word seemed to be missing. These things had me wavering between three stars and four,
I still enjoyed reading it though, so four stars it is.
