Callie Carman certainly puts her M/C through the emotional wringer in this, her first release. From the heady heights of true love to the hot roller coaster of lust. Jaq also has decisions to make; does she commit to her newest beau, or keep her old ones? And if that's not enough, their is drama in the air, as a one-night stand starts to push her to meet him again, but he's not too polite about it, scary indeed.
If you're a romance fan and like lots of spice in the mix. If you like to feel a tingle go up your spine as you read, and that can be for more than one reason, you're going to enjoy this read, but you might want to sit in front of your open freezer door when the action spirals into a tempest. You have been warned folks.

Jaq doesn't trust men due to her father's previous lies, consequently she has several boyfriends who all know about each other. She meets Patrick on a girls night out. Sparks fly in both directions! Unfortunately there's a serial killer around and he's set his sights on Jaq. There follows a jolly good read.
I hope there's a follow up with Jaden at some time.

I really loved this book. The characters are great and the story flows nicely. The love between the main characters had depth and passion. The author kept you on your toes with the thriller aspect of a serial killer. I’m not a big horror lover, so I was hesitant to read this. The serial killer pieces are tasteful and just enough to add a thrill aspect with out going overboard. I am absolutely going to buy the next book in this series. Loved the other characters and I can’t wait for their stories.

As a lover of serial killer stories, I rushed to pick up Patrick—and then rushed through it to see how it ended!

This was an excellent read!
There's a serial killer, and the author did a good job of giving you a glimpse into his mind.
There's also a young couple with some believable conflict and great chemistry.
The sex scenes were sizzling.
I'm a college professor, and I felt the couple accurately represented this age group.
I was interested until the end.
