Loved Lang in all the books he gets cameos in so really had high hopes for him. Initially I felt he had lost some of his forcefulness and strength but actually we got to see his frailties and the reason for his persona. Fitz I was less sure of and to be honest between the two felt Lang was the more grown up of the two. Really enjoyed their journey and both support systems but wish their story had gone on a tad longer.

I freaking loved Fitzhenry and Byron/Lang together!

I kid you not when I say I have been waiting YEARS for Fitzhenry Everhart to get his HEA, I read the last of his brothers stories in 2018, that's how long I have been waiting....I'd say patiently but at times I wasn't so patient. Would I say this book was worth the wait? Absolutely! Why you may ask, it's because we had to wait for Byron Langdon to be ready for him and since there is a fourteen year age difference it only made sense to wait until Lang was 31 and Fitzhenry was 45...where the age difference wouldn't make much of a difference.

I will let you know that I did in fact need tissues once again with this series because of the events that happened on 9/11 which affected each of the brothers differently, now we know just how it impacted Fitz. But Fitz isn't the only one with issues from his past, Lang has deep seeded family issues that we finally get to the bottom of. Family doesn't have to be made of DNA, it's people whom you can love and respect and they treat you the same way without any conditions on it that can make a family.

This story had a lot of suspense to it without giving anything away, someone comes to Fitz's office and want's to hire him as his lawyer but there is something that throws up Fitz's radar so he calls his brother Harrison to do some digging and that's where Lang comes in. Lang is brought into Fitz's firm as a junior partner and his fake boyfriend so that his around to protect him 24/7 and believe me when I say he needs it.

If you enjoy MM Romantic Suspense Reads with some steam, Opposites Attract, Fake Relationships, Forced Proximity, or Age Gap Romances I highly recommend this book to you.

Fitz finally gets his story

I have been waiting for the last Everhart brother's story and I was not disappointed. Fitzhenry finally gets his love story and it's a great one, with humor, adventure, and love. Fitz has a potential client who is very determine to have Fitz represent him. Fitz reaches out to his oldest brother Harrison to check up on the potential client and that's when the story really starts.

The potential client appears to be a bad guy - drug trafficker, human trafficking, etc. The inquiry that Fitz had Harrison do end up with Fitz getting involved with his brother's organization to bring down the bad guy. In order to do that, Bryon is assigned to Fitz undercover as his "lover" and a new associate with Fitz's law firm. The interaction between Fitz and Bryon is funny and full of sarcasm. But Fitz's ability to make people open up finally breaks down the wall that Bryon has put around himself to not anyone in to his life because the person will eventually leave. Or like his childhood, his parents didn't want him.

As the undercover stint continues, they find out what the client is up to and runs the shipments that the client is getting in various ports around the country. Once it gets dangerous, Bryon takes Fitz away from NYC so that the client can't reach Fitz. The "romance" between Fitz and Bryon heats up (finally) when they are in hiding and the two finally open up to each other. Once the client's business has been destroyed, Fitz is free to go back to NYC. Bryon thinks Fitz is leaving him so he puts his walls up again and Fitz has no choice but to leave. However, Fitz gets into danger and Bryon and his team searches for him to rescue him. Bryon is afraid he won't find Fitz or Fitz is hurt because of his carelessness. However Bryon realizes that he truly loves Fitz and wants to be with. He just hopes Fitz feels the same.

I have loved the Everhart brother since I read the first book and always love Fitz in every one of them. I'm so glad to get Fitz's story and to get an update on what has happened with the other Everhart brothers and their family!

Ever since the first time I read about Fitzhenry Everhart/Fitz, I couldn't wait to see his story. I adore him. He sees himself as a good brother, friend, uncle, but not somebody's forever. He is open to relationships but not long term. He shies away from the serious. He's too scared of losing them. Not that he admits that. He just tries to keep it casual. And then he meets Byron Langford/Lang...

Pulling his brother Harrison in to check out a potential new client who is giving him bad vibes, Fitz finds himself doing a little undercover work for The Organization with Lang working and living with him as his new junior partner/boyfriend so he can protect him from this shady new client.

Fitz can't help needling Lang. And Lang is trying so hard to keep himself aloof from Fitz. The chemistry is palpable from the get go.

Lang is fighting his attraction to the oh so charming Fitz. Eventually the walls come tumbling down.

These two are both trying so hard to protect themselves they almost miss out. Lang pushes everyone away but his very small inner circle (the Too Far From Grace fam). And Fitz lets his family in and but runs from anything too deep. They are just what the other needs.

We get a dash of intrigue and suspense, some action, some highly entertaining family and friends banter, spicy goodness, and a fantabulous journey to HEA. Plus we get to see the other Everharts, Too Far from Grace, and lots of others we already know and love!!

Forever with Me is a wonderful read. If you have read Luna Harbor and Baker's Creek, then you will see a few familiar faces. We finally get to see Byron Langdon aka Lang and the kid fall hard. He has watched everyone else he's loved as his family in the Organization fall and now it's his turn to go undercover. Fitz aka the old man is stubborn, a little bit of a diva and doesn't do long term relationships. If you have read the Everhart brothers series, then you know he is the last one single, and this is the last book in the series. You feel the teasing and the sparks fly just a little when Lang and Fitz meet and have to spend all their time together. Their chemistry is a slow build as they work together to bring down the bad guy. Lang and Fitz are a little bit opposite with a smallish age gap but they both have a passion with what they do. This is one of those books you will not be able to put down as these men find their forever together. I love Lang and Fitz so much. You should meet them today.
